2017-18 JCC Book Fest

The Jewish Community Center is excited to once again host notable Jewish authors from across the U.S. in an effort to promote Jewish literature and present the community with thought-provoking programs. The following five outstanding authors were selected as the best speakers for our community from over 260 on the 2017-18 Jewish Book Council tour: Lauren Belfer, Jeremy Dauber, Bruce Henderson, Tova Mirvis, Joan Nathan

Social Scapes, original pen and watercolor paintings by Maddy Witt

Social Scapes, original pen and watercolor paintings by Maddy Witt on display in the auditorium December 27, 2017 through February 7, 2018. Opening wine/cheese reception with the artist Wednesday, December 27, from 5-7pm. Maddy, raised in Albuquerque, graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio in 2016 with a BA in Studio Art. An aspiring art conservationist and artist, Witt has paired a love of travel with her desire to acquire "hands-on" experience in art preservation which she gained in an internship at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
