Mark has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame, master’s degree in biology (concentration in medical physiology) from Creighton, and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an NASM certified personal trainer, and holds certifications in senior fitness (NASM), corrective exercise (NASM), weight loss (NASM), functional movement (FMS Level 1 and 2), fitness nutrition (NASM), and Sprint-Intensity Cardio Training (Sprint 8). Mark is also a certified Yoga Instructor (RYS-200).

More About Mark
Mark is an avid traveler who has visited over 100 countries and all 50 States. His sports background includes playing Division 1 soccer at the University of Notre Dame, competing in numerous trail-running events (Pikes Peak Ascent, La Luz, Bataan, Imogene Pass) and sprint triathlons, and climbing mountains such as Mt. Kilimanjaro and about a dozen of the Colorado 14ers. After getting a heart arrhythmia diagnosis in his early 40s, he now enjoys a more balanced (and much shorter!) exercise routine that includes strength training, HIIT, swimming, biking, hiking, yoga, stretching, and trying to keep up with his teenage son. Mark enjoys helping people create and stick to exercise programs that optimize their long-term health.
