Looking for ways to give back to your community? Want to help others? Below you will find some of our favorite local organizations who are always looking for volunteers to help them enrich people’s lives and strengthen our community!

Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico has been serving New Mexico’s hungry since 1980 thanks to a vision by founder Reverend Titus Scholl.  

United Way of Central New Mexico works to inspire donors and businesses to invest in our community and partner with nonprofits to mobilize resources and channel them where they are most needed.

 The Rio Grande Food Project is the largest food pantry on Albuquerque’s west side. Located where many people don’t have regular access to enough affordable nutritious food to live healthy active lives.

New Mexico Appleseed is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives of the poor and underserved through systemic change. 

Through free one-on-one or small group instruction we give individuals the opportunity to learn in an intimate, supportive enviornment where they can address their literacy gaps free from society’s stamp of shame.

Our mission is empowering homeless families to end their homelessness and poverty through housing, education, and supportive communities.

We are New Mexico’s largest food pantry. More and more of Albuquerque’s working poor are struggling to feed themselves and their families.

New Mexico is number one in the nation for percentage of children living in homes with insufficient food supply. Together we can end childhood hunger in New Mexico.

HopeWorks provides shelter, jobs, meals, permanent and re-entry housing, mental health services, and our Hope Cafe program hires and trains formerly homeless interns in the restaurant industry.

Children who find themselves in the foster care system need a voice. They need you to speak up for them. Our volunteers advocate for children who have been abused or neglected.
