Samson Challenge

Early Bird Registration Opens June 1st

Where ordinary people do extraordinary things. The Samson Challenge is a locally-born, adrenaline-fueled adventure race that pushes athletes of all ages to dig deep, break barriers, and discover their inner warrior. From 5-year-olds taking their first shot at greatness to 80-year-old legends proving limits are meant to be shattered, this isn’t just a race—it’s a movement. One course. 500+ athletes. Zero excuses. Are you ready to answer the challenge?

Individual Race

Take on the full Samson course solo and put your strength, endurance, and grit to the test. Choose from categories like Warrior, Jock, Not-So-Average Joe/Jane, Masters (50+), Rock Star (65+), or Legends (75+). Whether you’re competing for fun or going for a podium spot, this challenge pushes you to your limits!

Partner Race

Team up with a friend in this coed or same-sex duo challenge. Compete at the Jock level and tackle the course together, sharing the experience and pushing each other to the finish line. It’s the perfect way to take on the Samson Challenge with a partner by your side! Be sure to register both yourself and your partner—each team member must sign up individually to participate.

Truck Pull

Stick around after the race for one of the most exciting events of the day—the Truck Pull! Both male and female athletes will pull a truck (weighing half a ton or more) for 25 meters. Warrior-level Samson participants who compete in the Truck Pull will be entered into the elite Super Athlete category.

Fire Truck Pull

The Fire Truck Pull is a team challenge where groups of eight work together to pull a full-sized fire truck across the finish line as fast as they can. It’s a test of strength, coordination, and teamwork, bringing together community teams for some friendly competition. Local first responders, including AFR and BCSO go head-to-head with other teams in a spirited showcase of grit and camaraderie.

Super Athlete

Warrior-level Samson participants who compete in the Truck Pull will be entered into the elite Super Athlete category.

Junior Samson

A kid-friendly version of the Samson Challenge, designed for ages 5–12. This mini obstacle course emphasizes agility, balance, and endurance in a fun and supportive environment. It’s a blast for young athletes looking to get in on the action!
