Mission Possible

Mission Possible is a $4.5 million multi-phased development program designed to elevate the JCC of Greater Albuquerque’s ability to serve our entire community. This bold initiative will fund the creation of dynamic new spaces, enhance existing facilities, and strengthen the foundation for our innovative, inclusive, and life-enriching programs.

Moments That Matter. Community That Lasts.
Your support of Mission Possible is an investment in the future of the JCC and the Greater Albuquerque Jewish community. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected future.

The Time Is Now

Now is the Time to Build the Future of the JCC of Greater Albuquerque
The JCC of Greater Albuquerque has long been a place where lives are enriched, connections are made, and Jewish values come to life. As we look ahead, we recognize the critical need to invest in our facilities and programs to ensure we continue serving as a vibrant, inclusive hub for our entire community. Through the Mission Possible Capital Campaign, we are strategically reimagining our spaces to support innovation, strengthen our impact, and meet the evolving needs of families across the region. This transformation will allow us to remain a central gathering place for Jewish life, learning, wellness, and community—today and for generations to come.

Our vision is bold: to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and inspire more people to engage in meaningful Jewish experiences. To bring this vision to life, our leadership team and dedicated volunteers conducted a comprehensive review of our facilities, programs, and services. Their findings guide our plan to enhance the JCC’s infrastructure, ensuring that we continue to foster belonging, connection, and growth for all who walk through our doors.

5 Scopes Future Renderings

Pickleball Courts

We’re bringing one of the fastest-growing sports in the country to the J! By replacing the current futsal court with three regulation-sized pickleball courts, complete with site lighting and bleacher seating, we’re creating a vibrant new space for active play, social connection, and all-ages recreation. These new courts will foster intergenerational engagement and provide a fun, accessible fitness option for our entire community.

Splash Pad

The aging baby pool area sand volleyball court will be reimagined as a modern splash pad featuring interactive water play, outdoor showers, and brand-new playground equipment. A rubberized play surface and new curbs will enhance safety and accessibility. This revitalized outdoor zone will become a go-to destination for families and children to cool off, explore, and play.

Locker Rooms

We’re reimagining wellness from the inside out. The J’s locker rooms will be completely renovated with modern, state-of-the-art lockers, new bathroom fixtures and accessories, and a sauna replacing the steam room. These upgrades will provide a more comfortable, functional, and spa-like experience, enhancing the daily routines of members and guests alike.

Preschool Expansion

To meet the growing needs of young families, the Family Enrichment Center will expand its early childhood programming by converting its multi-purpose room into a new waddlers classroom. The project will also relocate administrative offices and add a dedicated staff restroom, supporting a nurturing, developmentally rich learning environment for our youngest learners.

Cafe and Game Area

The café and game area will be reimagined with new interior finishes and a specially designated Mah Jongg/lounge space featuring comfortable seating, stylish lighting, and greenery to enhance ambiance. This revitalized space will foster social connection, relaxation, and a sense of community, offering members of all ages a welcoming place to gather, play, and unwind.
