6/3/24 – Summer Safety at the JCC
It’s hard to believe, but summer break is upon us! This brings JCC summer camps, aquatics lessons and events, and more outdoor activities, all in addition to our year-round offerings. It is a busy, but exciting time!
Parking Lot & Traffic Considerations
- During the summer months, traffic flow into and out of the JCC drastically increases. The safety office would ask that you please consider the following:
- Enhanced attention to all pedestrians.
- Be considerate during drop-off and pick-up times for our campers.
- Be considerate of our older adult and members with physical impairments and disabilities. Our specified accessible parking spaces are limited; please consider allowing those with critical needs to utilize them when possible.
- Overall, please allow extra time and patience when arriving and departing the JCC.
General Safety
- Due to current world events, please always consider enhanced awareness.
- Report anything suspicious or unusual to the JCC’s front desk by phone, or advise a staff member upon entry to the building.
- Be aware of children, and please report if they are unattended at any time.
- Report any safety hazards immediately to the front desk or a staff member.
- Remember: “ See something say something”
