Reformer Pilates Classes
The JCC is THRILLED to offer Reformer Pilates to our community! Held in our gorgeous reformer studio, these ongoing classes are small in size (5 participants max), allowing for personalized instruction.
Reformer Pilates is a comprehensive fitness system that uses the Pilates Reformer, a unique piece of exercise equipment that enhances strength, flexibility, and posture. The Reformer is outfitted with a sliding carriage, springs, ropes with handles, and a footbar to provide resistance and support for a variety of movements which makes Reformer Pilates an ideal choice for everyone – beginning exerciser to elite athlete.

Meet Our Instructors
Tracy
Tracy has been teaching Pilates for over 20 years. She was certified under Ray Kurshalls at Pilates Santa Fe. She also has her BFA in Theatre and Dance from UNM with an emphasis in dance performance. She taught ballet, modern and jazz for many years before she turned to her second love; Pilates. She feels Pilates is for everybody, no matter how young or awesomely old! Pilates will keep you walking tall and straight and lengthen and strengthen your muscles. Keep on moving!
Sharon
Sharon has her Group Fitness Certification through both ACE, and AFAA, and has taught Group Fitness for over 40 years. She teaches Pilates Reformer and Mat classes, LaBlast Dance Fitness and Studio Cycling. She studied Pilates with Ray Kurshalls of “Pilates Santa Fe” and works for APS as an Educational Assistant at Eisenhower Middle School. She also finds time to perform in local Community Theatre. Some of her favorite Musicals include “Mama Mia”, “Gypsy”, “Anything Goes”, “Rock of Ages”, and “Kinky Boots”. She believes that “Fitness should include Everyone!”
